A large number of pilgrims flock here every year from the Maghreb or West Africa to pray before the “ziarra” (the Sheikh’s tomb), where the spiritual path of the “Tijaniya” has spread widely. A brotherhood was born from his priesthood, which continues today with strength and vitality.
